The authors of the publication present selected problems of protection of human rights and freedoms that are currently appearing at both national and international levels. The articles in the monograph refer to those issues which are nowadays a challenge and are a kind of signum temporis of the modern world. It includes articles on both classic human rights issues, which are related to the first and secondo generation of human rights, as well as more and more frequently popular issues related to the impact of modern information technologies on the individual rights.
