Agreement on cooperation between the Faculty of International and Political Studies of Jagiellonian University and the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka

Upon the initiative of the National Security Department of the Jagiellonian University, on the 12th of February 2020, an agreement was concluded between the Faculty of International and Political Studies of Jagiellonian University and the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) in Zielonka, with the aim of strengthening mutual relations in order to develop scientific research, teaching and educational cooperation. On behalf of the Faculty of International and Political Studies the agreement was signed by the Rector’s Plenipotentiary, acting Dean, Professor Andrzej Porębski. On behalf of the Military Institute of Armament Technology, the signature was endorsed by Coloner Doctor Rafał Bazela, WITU Director. The ceremony of signing the agreement was also attended by Professor Artur Gruszczak, head of the National Security Department of the Jagiellonian University and Professor Dariusz Kozerawski from the National Security Department.

The agreement provides for, among others, the organization of joint seminars and conferences, lectures and scientific presentations with the participation of representatives of both Parties; publication of scientific outcomes resulting from the cooperation of the Parties; expertise and advisory support for each Party; involvement of officers and employees of the WITU in the teaching process carried out at Jagiellonian University, as well as the contribution of the faculty of International and Political Studies in teaching and vocational training carried out at WITU; organization of student internships at WITU.
