The COVID-19 pandemics provoked by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has been for several weeks the main topic of political debates. Its effects will have a durable impact on the international relations. Currently, a key task for both the states and international organizations is the resistance to the threat of proliferation of the virus. From NATO’s perspective, the present situation poses not only a challenge for the Alliance’s unity, but also for the key ongoing activities within the collective security system.
