Dr Agata Mazurkiewicz, a member of the Department of National Security at the University of Jagiellonian, took part in the prestigious International Forum for Peace, Security and Prosperity held in Palermo from the 17th to the 20th of March 2024. The theme of this year's Forum was "The Impact of Contemporary Tensions, Conflicts and War on Large International Institutions". Dr Mazurkiewicz was part of a panel dedicated to regional organizations organized by the United States Military Academy West Point, Norwich University, and the University of Stellenbosch.

The International Forum for Peace, Security and Prosperity (IFPSP) was initiated in 2019, aiming to draw lessons from the past, educate, and engage in discussions on peace and security.
