Representatives of the Department of National Security at the International Studies Association’s Annual Convention in Montreal

Dr. Dominika Dziwisz and Dr. Mateusz Kolaszyński, researchers of the Department of National Security, participated in the International Studies Association's 64th Annual Convention held in Montreal on March 15-18, 2023. The Convention, which explored the theme Real Struggles, High Stakes: Cooperation, Contention, and Creativity, provided a platform for academics, policy experts, practitioners, private sector professionals, and independent researchers from around the world for exchanging ideas and establishing cooperative networks and joint research initiatives.

The International Studies Association (ISA), founded in 1959, is one of the oldest scientific associations dedicated to international relations, boasting a membership of over 7,000 members worldwide. At the 64th Annual Convention Dr. Dominika Dziwisz presented a paper on Rethinking Future Conflicts: Great Power Games in Cyberspace, while Dr. Mateusz Kolaszyński and Dr. Dariusz Stolicki from the Department of Contemporary Political and Party Systems delivered a paper on Regulatory Capture of Intelligence Oversight Committees: A New Method Applied to the Polish Case. Both interventions received high praise and generated significant interest, contributing to the strengthening of contacts with security scholars from all over the world.

Congratulations to the representatives of the National Security Department for their outstanding contributions to the ISA Convention.
