Seminar on the Perception and Rhetoric in “Frontline States”: An early assessment of the consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine

Dr Agata Mazurkiewicz and Dr Dominika Dziwisz will be participating in an expert seminar focusing on an early assessment of the consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine. The one-day meeting will present the research results to the public and engage the audience in the discussion.

The expert seminar will take place on 28 November 2022 starting at 11:00 and can be watched online on Facebook and YouTube.

This expert seminar is part of a wider project titled Perception and rhetoric in “frontline states”: An early assessment of the consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine, aimed at bringing together scholars and thin-tank experts to foster cooperation between academia and policy-oriented stakeholders. Therefore, the seminar is the first initial phase of exchange of ideas, opinions and research dedicated to examining the immediate consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine from the perspective of the Central and Eastern European region, and particularly of the so-called “frontline states”. The topic of the seminar should serve as an invitation for a broader discussion about political, social, economic, military, and security consequences of the war. The tangible results of the seminar will be published in a form of written report accessible for a broader, non-academic audience. The project is funded under the program “Excellence Initiative – Research University” at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
