The commentary refers to the legitimacy of imposing a state of emergency in Poland in response to the crisis situation at the state border with Belarus, in the context of legal regulations relating to states of emergency in Poland. The author presents an opinion that for formal reasons it would be more justified to introduce martial law instead of a state of emergency.
