The 100th issue of KBN Analyses!

It is our great pleasure to announce the release of the 100th issue in the series "KBN Analyses” published by the Department of National Security of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations, Jagiellonian University. Dr Grigol Julukhidze, Director of the Foreign Policy Council in Tbilisi, and the Coimbra Group Visiting Fellow at the Department of National Security in 2021, is the author of the round-number issue. His analysis titled "Russia’s propaganda and disinformation narratives in Georgia” takes up the highly important issue of the propaganda and disinformation narratives that the Russian Federation disseminates as part of its information operations in the former Soviet republics.

"KBN Analyses”, along with "KBN Commentaries” are regular publications of the faculty and PhD candidates at the Department of National Security, reflecting their ongoing research and main areas of interest. It also provides students and collaborators affiliated to the Department with a venue for the presentation of their current research and their expertise.

The majority of the texts were published in Polish, although several analyses and commentaries were issued in English. The first text, which was published on the 20th of October, 2015, was titled: The Russian operation in Syria – goals and possible outcomes. It was authored by Professor Marek Czajkowski. „KBN Analyses” are published as pdf files, open access, licensed under Creative Commons 4.0. They are all available at the website of the Department of National Security. Texts in Polish language are available as pdf files, however they are presented at the English-language website by their abstracts.
