The 3rd JAGIELLONIAN INTERDISCIPLINARY SECURITY CONFERENCE

The 3rd Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference is a continuation of a series of conferences aiming to stimulate an interdisciplinary debate on contemporary aspects of the complex security environment. The 2nd Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference held in 2018 discussed dominant patterns of behaviour and performance in the turbulent global security system. The 1st Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference, organised in 2015 in collaboration with the International Studies Association (ISA) as the Jagiellonian University Security Conference – Interdisciplinary Approaches to Security in the Changing World, brought together 150 researchers and practitioners representing over 100 institutions from 26 countries around the world.

Rakowiecka w remoncie – nowa książka dr. Arkadiusza Nyzio

Z przyjemnością informujemy, że nakładem wydawnictwa Księgarnia Akademicka ukazała się monografia pt. Rakowiecka w remoncie. Transformacja polityki bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego Polski w latach 1989–1993 autorstwa asystenta w Katedrze Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego, dr. Arkadiusza Nyzio. Wydana w serii Societas redagowanej przez prof. dr. hab. Bogdana Szlachtę, książka jest pierwszą w polskim piśmiennictwie naukowym monografią, która kompleksowo opisuje problematykę przekształceń aparatu bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego w pierwszych latach III RP.

System Leadership: Its Role in a Collaborative Environment - Guest Lecture in the “Leadership” series by Dr Steven Horsley.

The Department of National Security of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations, Jagiellonian University is proud to invite to the lecture by Dr. Steven Horsley from the School of Business and Leadership at the University of Charleston, West Viriginia, USA.
The topic of the lecture is: System Leadership: Its Role in a Collaborative Environment. It will be delivered in English on the 18th of March (Thursday), starting at 18:00 (CET) on MS Teams. It will be followed by Q & A session (in English). This is the fourth lecture in the „Leadership” series organised by the Department of National Security.
